Q.  Where are Zero Delta University courses held?

A.  ZDU courses are held at various venues around the world.  Our main location in Chicago is a primary learning site.  Courses are taught at a number of satellite sites in Europe, Middle East, Asia, and the South Pacific.  Each course will list site details.

Q.  Are ZDU courses taught by the same professors/lecturers at every site location.

A.  In many cases the same professor/lecturer who teaches at the Chicago location will also teach at satellite locations around the world.  Where this is not possible an alternative lecturer trained on the subject matter and course materials will deliver the course.  The same quality of course delivery will be achieved regardless of where the course is taught or who teaches the course.  ZDU guarantees your complete satisfaction*.

Q.  Is there a course discount when courses are taken back-to-back?

A.  Yes.  Courses taken 'back-to-back' (within the same series and at the same location and time) will be discounted at a rate of 10% off each course.  This discount will be applied when you register for the courses.

Q. What are the certification requirements.  Do I receive a certification for each course?

A.  Certifications are provided for each 'level' within a role player type structure.  For example, the Enterprise Business Architect role player has three certification levels -- Certified Enterprise Business Architect; Certified Advanced Enterprise Business Architect, and; Certified Master Enterprise Business Architect.  Formal certifications are achieved when the student completes all courses listed for each level and upon achieving a satisfactory score on the final level test.

Q.  Is it required that I pursue formal certification?

A.  You are not required to follow the formal certification path unless you have stated formally your intent to achieve certification within the area you have indicated.

Q.  What standards, if any, are Zero Delta courses based upon?

A.  ZDU courses are structured around industry standards or commonly-accepted industry best practices.  Zero Delta is a leader and innovator in the Enterprise Alignment and Enterprise Architecture fields.

Q.  Do I need to attend all courses at the same location?

A.  No.  Because ZDU courses are based upon rigorous standards and are taught by a consistent and professional faculty, you may elect to take course in different locations.  Perhaps BA1-01 in Sydney and BA1-02 in Chicago.  Wherever and whenever you choose  based upon what works best for you, your schedule, and your learning and knowledge accumulation requirements.

Q.  What do I need to bring to each course?

A.  A student laptop is mandatory.  Many courses require the student to use a laptop for problem solving, problem and solution modeling, and to support a variety of 'hands-on' aspects of the course.  When required, students will receive 'academic course editions' of software necessary to complete the course materials.

Q.  What is the typical profile of a ZDU student?

A.  ZDU students come from a variety of backgrounds.  We encourage students to have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry and work experience in their given field(s) of practice and study.  The course offering is targeted to business strategists, technology strategists, business analysts, enterprise architects, portfolio managers, and program and project managers.  ZDU students come from all industries -- public, private, and country, state and local governments.
